The meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm by Chairman Lloyd Irvine.  Ron Trahan moved to approve the minutes of the March 4, March 15, and March 24, 2010 CME meetings.  Walt Schock seconded the motion.  Motion carried unanimously.  

Alan Mikkelsen informed the CME of the upcoming Implementation Committee (BiOp) meeting on April 14.  Alan also briefed the CME on H&N Electric work on the Flathead River Pumping Plant.  They are scheduled to start work on Monday.  

Ron Trahan asked about janitorial services.  Alan Mikkelsen said that janitorial services would be performed under contract with a local janitorial firm.  

Ted Hein encouraged the development of a drug policy as soon as possible.  

Paul Hunsucker said that one of the employees had been suggesting that the Project needed a mini-excavator.  

Leonard Gray discussed ditchrider training and the need to get ditchriders familiar with the new operation and increased accountability.  Alan Mikkelsen discussed the upcoming ditchrider training on April 13, at the Community Center in St. Ignatius.  He said that Seth Makepeace had developed a full agenda for the entire day, with presentations from biologists, legal, hydrologists and other experts from both the CSKT and state of Montana.  Ted Hein suggested that training sessions ought to be held for water users, also.  

Leroy Dumontier emphasized that ditchriders must answer their cell phones and be available to take water orders and requests.  

The next CME meeting was scheduled for May 6, 2010, at 1:00 pm, at the FJBC office in St. Ignatius, MT.
